Description

The Geospace Science and Technology Branch has research opportunities for experimental aeronomy. We are particularly interested in using optical and radio-based sensors from the ground and space to characterize detailed spatial and temporal features in the ionosphere-thermosphere system. The Branch also conducts research on modeling and forecasting the ionosphere, thermosphere, mesosphere, and upper atmosphere; opportunities for collaborative work in these areas would be available.
