Description

Our research focuses on cryptography and cryptographic applications, with particular focus on defense-relevant applications such as maritime, space, and unmanned vehicles. This research opportunity speaks to several different potential directions within this domain, including theory and design for cryptographic protocols and post-quantum security to improving and expanding the use of relevant and existing cryptographic solutions within the DoD. Dependent on research direction, research vectors may range in experimental approaches. Computational analysis forms a backbone for assessment of protocol security, while unmanned system research may involve underwater or flight tests and machine learning integration with security. The fundamental aim of this opportunity is to expand and improve cutting-edge cryptographic solutions for DoD challenges.
