Description

This research focuses on developing new approaches to the discovery of high affinity receptors for a broad range of small organic compounds and larger biomolecules. The target analytes are species which enable new methodologies for solving problems ranging from catalysis to sequestration and neutralization of toxins. The long range goals include understanding at the molecular level, how molecular recognition between two entities can trigger, accelerate, or even divert specific chemical processes.
