Anthropogenic climate changes and impacts will be difficult to assess unless the natural climate variability and its related feedback process can be characterized and understood, particularly the variability and changes on regional scales. This project focuses on (1) documenting and understanding regional characteristics of climate variability and changes, (2) developing regiomal climate system models and tools for impacts and applications, (3) quantifying uncertainties in regional climate predictions and projections, and (4) addressing regional climate system sensitivities.
Climate variability and changes; Regional climate modeling, Prediction, and projection;
Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents and non-U.S. citizens
Open to Postdoctoral and Senior applicants
Postdoctoral and Senior Associates will receive an appropriately higher stipend based on the
number of years of experience past their PhD.
