Additional Information About National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Prior affiliation includes direct full-time employment relationships with the laboratory. Research contracts with universities that provide support for graduate students or faculty who perform research on campus are not ordinarily considered to be disqualifying. In addition, affiliations such as term appointments and direct contracts are allowable, as long as the research in the proposal represents a different research aspect than currently being done.
