Understanding complex information and developing useful knowledge from the information is challenging. However, interactive visualization can help the user to gain more insight into the data during the data exploration and discovery process. The process of interactive data visualization gives the user the ability to change the data representation in real time to generate data visualization from different perspectives. This allows users to perceive data from different perspectives, explore a visualization in more ways, and gain more detailed information. In an interactive visualization process, the process of data exploration and data visualization will have to be an iterative process that will help refine both the data exploration and data visualization processes. The ability to manipulate the data and be able to visualize the modification in real time will be paramount to the data exploration and discovery process.
