Description

Advances in communication and information technology provide an unprecedented opportunity to enhance organizational effectiveness through cutting edge assessment of individual, team, and organizational-level constructs. ARL is looking for a research Associate to further our goals of automatic, real-time measurement of individual, team, and organizational performance through advanced analytical methods including dynamic social network analysis. Research opportunities include analysis of complex, real-world communications data (e.g., email, chat, telephone, face-to-face) to advance capabilities of assessing dynamic team states, processes, and outcomes in hierarchical organizations. Focus will be placed on applied transitions of performance-related algorithms in training and operational domains. Ideally, candidates should demonstrate expertise in computational social science, including social network analysis, exponential random graph models, graph theory, relational event analysis, text analytics, and/or statistical programming, and their application in the social science domain (e.g., psychology, sociology, anthropology).
