Description

Recent decades have seen rapid progress in controlling, synchronizing, and otherwise manipulating chaotic nonlinear dynamical systems. Unlike other random sources, multiple chaotic systems can be coupled to produce coherent, positive entropy signals. Complex networks of oscillators present a wide spectrum of dynamical behaviors. Research focuses on exploring aspects of nonlinear dynamics relevant to radar, communication, electronics, signal processing, and other applications. Efforts include theoretical analysis, computer simulation, and laboratory experiments.
