Description

We are developing magnetic nano-agents with engineered electromagnetic characteristics and the corresponding imaging tools and protocols required for in-vivo applications. We are interested in proposals in the following areas: (1) developing high-throughput, thin-film, nanofabrication methods for making magnetic engineered imaging agents in sufficient quantities; (2) advanced RF detection systems for in-vivo applications; (3) new imaging modalities and protocols that ultimately would be compatible with conventional MRI scanners; (4) engineering magnetic nano-agents that have molecular imaging functionality; and (5) engineering magnetic nano-agents that operate at low magnetic fields.
