Description

Our research efforts focus on the development of an innovative, integrated multifunctional photonic sensor and standards platform based on silicon photonics. The envisioned platform will enable ground-breaking measurements of temperature, pressure, and chemical species in a wide variety of environments and applications such as traumatic brain injury, environmental and structural monitoring, nano-fluidics, quantum computing, and embedded photonic sensor networks for bio-monitoring. Potential postdoctoral candidates with experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, quantum physics (atom-trapping or opto-mechanics), nano-photonics, lasers, and/or clean room are encouraged to apply.
