National Geodetic Survey (NGS) has a need to be able to process all new Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data obtained from the Continuously Operating Reference Stations including IGS global networks. The global data processing (including orbit determination, station position adjustments, and clock estimation) results will mainly be used to realize the global and regional reference frames, as well as supporting static and kinematic positioning needs. Areas of relevant research include, but are not limited to atmospheric (ionosphere and troposphere) modeling with the new signal frequencies, ambiguity resolution with mixed constellations, solar radiation pressure modeling of GNSS satellites, and efficient numerical analysis techniques for high-performance computing.
We are seeking applicants with less than five years of experience after completing their Ph.D.; we are not accepting applications from Senior Researchers (more than 5 years of experience) at this time.
