Description

We are interested in theoretical and experimental quantum information processing, networking, communication, and entanglement distribution. The AFRL quantum information science laboratories are based on photonics, trapped ions, and superconducting technologies (post docs welcome in any of these fields). We are working on integrated waveguide devices, including foundry level design, fabrication, testing, packaging and applications. We are interested in quantum protocols and quantum algorithm development on current and future commercial quantum computers. We have in-house photon-based qubit systems, trapped ion systems, and superconducting transduction refrigerators, along with other areas of theoretical and experimental quantum information processing.
